Join us this Saturday, Oct. 10th, for the Party and Wedding Festival at the Pruneyard in Campbell.  Stop by and visit the Amazáe Team outside Trudy’s Bridal Store from 11:00 AM until 5:00 PM.  We will be available to answer any questions you might have about planning, coordinating, or designing your special event.  The festival also helps the Rock Bottom Foundation combat hunger in our communities.  So bring your family, friends, and cans, to enjoy an afternoon of food, wine, music and fashion shows, while mingling with vendors in the industry.  Looking forward to seeing you there.

A Glimpse of Our Future

As the year starts to wind down, we are celebrating another fantastic and successful year of planning the most special of events for our clients.  Hard to believe there are just a few more months till 2010.  The excitement doesn’t stop here, as our team, website and services  continue to expand.  Our growth is designed to allow us to continue to provide the best possible service to our clients and increase our capabilities as we plan personal and professional events throughout the Bay Area and Special Destinations.

With the launching of the new website, we are able to illustrate the personal touch and attention to detail that Amazáe Special Events provides to all of our clients with the planning of their extraordinary event.  The website and its content have been important for us to share with all the opportunities we have had with are awesome clients.  It also provides a good way to learn more about our services and what our team has been doing .  Hopefully this new website gives you a new glimpse of Amazáe Special Events and we look forward to sharing our future with you.  Check it out: Amazáe Special Events

Jackie and Irwin – from the beginning

We have been so lucky to work with some amazing clients this year.  One particular couple, Jackie and Irwin, we had the pleasure of working with from the very beginning over two years ago.  They took the hire an event coordinator/designer first to heart, and we know it payed off seeing how happy they were on their wedding day at Casa Real.  We booked the place even before it was built, and brought on board an amazing group of vendors.  Details were planned out to the tee, and this couple did so much for their guests: providing transportation, cigars, food, drinks, desserts, photobooth, take home coasters, the works.  It made it even more perfect as they kept their UC Berkeley alma mater in the planning details as well.

Jackie and Irwin are an awesome couple and we were so happy to see everything come into reality two years later.  Congratulations!

A Quick Tease!

We normally don’t post so quickly in regards to an event, but it was a great night last night with a ROCKSTAR team that we had to throw out a quick tease.  Amy and Kendall worked with us for over a year and a half with every last detail for their wedding at the beautiful Casa Real.  The event crew there are such hard workers and the food is supurb.  But that wasn’t the only highlight….we got to design florals with Nicole Ha, have the amazing Maria from PMA taking care of the ladies (even the men), Andrew from MSV shoot the video (can’t wait for that), and the awesome Augie Chang.  Need we say more   Here’s a little tease from Augie!  (Yes already)

Style me Pretty!!!

Early July we were given the fabulous news of being asked to submit our work to one of the most honorable wedding blogs across the entire country.  Style Me Pretty, a chic blog “devoted to the style obsessed bride” contains hand selected vendors across the nation.  Their blog is inspirational, with no boundaries to the beauty they share with their over 2 million readers.  Martha Stewart fully endorsed this site by inviting them to represent one of her top favorite quality blogs.  Additionally Modern Bride named them as one of the top most helpful websites.  It is a tremendous honor to be part of Style Me Pretty.  Wow, we made it!

While being able to submit our wedding designs to the blog is a fantastic honor in itself, their invitation to add us to their “Little Black Book” , a thoughtfully edited listing of only a few “top quality” vendors per category, was even more exciting.  We can’t explain how excited we are about this opportunity and we are grateful for their recognition of our dedication and commitment to our clients.

A Glimpse of our Spring

We apologize for keeping you all waiting and are excited to share all of the wonderful events that have taken place.  With all the events, supporting some of our fabulous vendors through exciting transitions, redesigning our website, and preparing for Una Bella Sera- we definitely had our hands full.  But here’s a little glimpse of some great weddings with us.

Let’s start with Holli and Shawn’s wedding. The weather was beautiful and the Film Centre in San Francisco was perfect for this event.  We were excited to work with Melon’s catering and all the other vendors. Holli and Shawn were very happy and their  guess really enjoyed their wedding day tremendously. They were a great couple to work with.

Jasmine and Tyrell’s wedding was held in San Jose at the gorgeous St. Josephs Cathedral, followed by a reception at The Fairmont Hotel.  Jasmine and Tyrell’s reception was one that their friends and family will remember for a long time. From the gorgeous design details to the DJ that kept the dance floor alive all night, they truly celebrated in style! We are so happy to have been a part of their special day!

Now off to Napa Valley where Nicole and Dean said their vows. The Wine Country always makes for a good time but when you add along a wedding we designed with some fabulous vendors at the sophisticated and whimsical Solage in Calistoga… we couldn’t ask for more! But we got more! Nicole was such a beautiful, elegant bride and Dean, with his strong character, looked so handsome.  The evening was even more special with 1000 origamis everywhere, a surprise song, a story continuation by mom that impressed all, and a great toast by a loving uncle. We can’t forget about the great MCing and DJing by Spintronix either.

UNA BELLA SERA

Una Bella Sera 2009: mission accomplished!!! 

After months of preparation and days of not sleeping, our long awaited design showcase featuring Amazáe Special Events and Nicole Ha Floral Designs took place April 5, 2009. The event was held inside of the prestigious Julia Morgan Ballroom in downtown San Francisco. Although many people may have forgotten where they were since our theme brought everyone to different parts of the world.  We definitely succeeded by bringing to life the 7 continents of the world, separating each room and using themes within each continent in order to design the space.

We are so honored and grateful for all of the wonderful vendors who came on board to make this event possible. Be sure to take a look at The Great List. We said that this year’s Una Bella Sera was going to be bigger and better than last years, but we also proved it! With an outstanding number of guests, delicious food, great music, and a lovely atmosphere, we could not have asked for a better turnout! From the live bands from Entire Productions who got the crowd up on their feet dancing, to the ice bar, to the many tables covered with mouthwatering treats from our wonderful caterers Joshua Charles Catering,  Le’s Kitchen and Thomas John Events, there definitely was a little something for everyone to take part in. We hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did!

UNA BELLA SERA- A World of Glamour

We are excited to say that we are producing Una Bella Sera once again with Nicole Ha Floral Design.

Last year was an absolute success working with our amazing vendors to create an first of it’s kind design showcase.  This year’s, ” World of Glamour”,  won’t be any different with latest trends, fantastic vendors, tabletop designs, fabulous food and drink, exquisite floral work, divine entertainment, and much much more.  This special showcase will be held at the historical and prestigious Juila Morgan Ballroom at the Merchant’s Exchange Building on April 5th from 5-9pm.

Congratulations Joyce and Fernando Delosreyes

Wow what a Valentine’s weekend!  We had the honor of being part of Joyce and Fernando’s great wedding day in San Francisco.

The day started great with fabulous hair and make-up by Professional Make-up Artistry, beautiful and big floral bouquets by Fresh bloom, and a photography team that couldn’t have been replaced (Augie Chang and Jennifer Skog).  The beautiful St. Patrick’s church was a perfect setting for MSV Studio to create a video that I’m sure will be great for the couple.  As if that wasn’t enough, guests entered into the prestigious SF Fairmont for their reception..service was impeccable and food was delicious.  Not to mention the decor from the florist and Elle Music and Events, that I know folks stayed late Friday and came in early Saturday for.

Now if you thought that was enough, the entertainment team was fabulous.  Uncle Jess who MCed the event was a wonderful and personal touch, and with the great teamwork between the band, Keith and the All-Stars, and DJ Marlo, the evening was perfect.  Dancing was non stop all the way through from the beginning to the end.  We were honored and truly excited to be part of such a great wedding day for our clients.
